Taylor Harrison has been retained by an innovative and highly entrepreneurial full service commercial bank, seeking a Head of Prudential Regulation to sit as part of the leadership team for the Finance function.
As a subject matter expert in prudential regulation, you will provide advice and guidance on policy, in particular capital and liquidity, and be responsible for horizon scanning to ensure the Bank are kept abreast of current and future regulatory developments. Also, to allow the organisation to be a leading force in shaping future regulation, you will act as an ambassador, networking, lobbying, and influencing with the regulator, government and industry bodies, as well as peers from within the banking sector.
To be a success in this role, you will not only be required to interpret policy changes and developments, but apply your expertise commercially, by identifying potential opportunities and threats presented from such regulatory change across the whole enterprise. Furthermore, you will possess a robust network and the communication and interpersonal skills to build alliances and be influential across the sector.
This role demands an individual who has previously worked within the UK-regulated financial services industry and/or advisory firm with an understanding of commercial lending and significant expertise and knowledge of prudential regulation.
