Our client, a new financial services entrant, seeks a Head of HR to report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Responsible for the design and implementation of culture, people strategy and practices, you will drive best practices and initiatives and provide strategic direction and expertise for people related matters. The role has one direct report, will be part of the Executive Team and have regular Board interaction.

Key focus areas for the successful candidate will be to:

- Build a brilliant culture.

- Develop and embed a performance management framework and associated remuneration strategy.

- Enable and support continuous people development.

- Implement an effective resourcing strategy, aligned to the strategic objectives and forecast hiring targets.

- Revisit and evolve existing HR policies and processes.

The chosen individual will need to have:

- Extensive HR knowledge, gained within the financial services/banking environment.

- An understanding of the FCA Senior Manager Regime and Remuneration Code.

- Experience of designing and implementing people and culture strategies.

- Excellent communication skills, naturally collaborative and able to work with the whole team to build strong relationships.

- Strong judgement underpinned by a desire to deliver outstanding results.
